He was truly our spiritual father in the Lord.  We will miss him so much, but we know that the Lord has taken him home in his timing.  We are praying for all of you and the whole family.

The funeral for Shari's sister Mary was Saturday in Nebraska, and it was a blessed time.   We are in Iowa tending to her affairs.  We will come directly to Denver at the appropriate time.  We will be happy to help you in any way we can, and can come in advance of the funeral to do so.  Please let us know what we can do.

Psa 116:15  May the Lord grant you strength to go through this time.  He is able and we praise Him for His abundant mercy.
We LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH.  You are dearest family.

Amen! He will surely be missed - Wow! I still remember him at the Ede Conference years ago with the 'Beyond Pentecost' and the 'None dare call it deception' series, copies of which I still keep and cherish greatly.

The legacy he lived on/for and left behind lives on! May the Lord, God of all comfort, comfort you, the immediate family and the Church on all sides.

May His gentle soul rest in perfect peace until that glorious resurrection morning when we shall meet again to part no more.

Blessings!

To the Sonmore family

I send my love and my prayers to the entire Sonmore family.   Jeanne was more like a sister to Maxine than a cousin.  I always admired Clayt  for Becky’s cafeteria and later for his determined propagation of the gospel in South America and in print.  I miss him as I know the family does but I rejoice with you in celebrating his advancement.   I pray that the Holy Spirit will be real to  each one in his memorial service.

Bro Gary.    We are sorry to hear of your fathers passing  We pray for Gods perfect comfort for you at this time.  It's always sad to see the brethren  pass away but yet is such a blessing to know that God has made a special place for them in eternity thanks to the precious blood of Jesus. We can rest in this great provision He has made for all who believe.     God bless you and your family.

For me your Dad was very insightful in the things of God and provoked me and many other to serve Our Lord.  What a life testimony!!  My prayer is that you and your family are comforted in the knowledge of the hope we have in Christ.

Our sincerest condolences on the behalf of your Father, Clayt who has passed on unto Glory.

It was a great honor to have Clayt visit Dubuque and stay in our home many years ago. We greatly appreciated
both Clayt and Jeanne and the gift they were to the body of Christ.

Though we greatly miss those who we love most dearly, it is with great joy to know that a loved one such as Clayt has transitioned from the earthly unto the heavenlies to be with the Lord.

May God give you and your family great peace and joy at this time, knowing your Father is
in a much greater and triumphant place in the Heavens.

Sincerely,
Br. George and Sister Susan Herrig

Dear family in the Lord,
How are you doing?
Terry told me what happened in the family.
My condolences, dear Gary and family.
Tell me when there the funeral will be.
Rejoice in the Lord for the new and incorruptible body your father is in now.
He was transferred to a new Earth that cannot be destroyed ( Heaven).
As you live on planet Earth, you have to be in a corruptible body, because the Earth is not our home; we cannot be adapted to Earth because the Earth is not eternal.
So, as we are eternal, we have to give back the Earthly body; corruptible as the Earth is also corruptible ( it will decay as well as our body).
Our home is Heaven, where there is no such thing like decaying.
So, one day we will be happy when we get back our Heavenly body in a Heavenly realm adapted to our spiritual nature, as we are born of Heaven and not of Earth (born again). We are sojourners and foreigners in this World; we are passing by only.
So, one day, we will go home, and be where we belong.
So, rejoice that the father is gone home where he belongs already.
John 21.
Be comforted because the Father has already told him this: you have done well good and faithful servant; you have been faithful in little; welcome to the resting and refreshing time in my Presence, Rejoice and enjoy the Glory I prepared for you before the Heavens and Earth were created.
So, yes, you feel emptiness the way children feel when one of the family is not home.
It is as if the house is empty and something is missing; that is the way you are feeling right now. But, Cheer up and be encouraged, in the Lord. Dad finished his race, he wants you to keep on fighting to finish you race, too.
Faithfully yours in the Lord,

Thank you Gary for the notice. It's hard to let go even if/when it's their time to move on. I do so love your family. There is a very special place in my heart for Clayt & Jeanne and that beautiful home on the lake in Minneapolis. Becky's Cafeteria was a lovely and wonderful experience and place for meetings discussing the truths being revealed in the 60's and 70's. A blessing for me was having other teenagers and young 20s involved in the move of God at that time. You dad has made a huge impact on thousands of people and the Kingdom of God has grown because of him.   My love and sympathies to you and your siblings.

Peace and Comfort,

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the departure of your father to his father. What a testimony he left for the people of God! Please be encouraged at this difficult time knowing he is ended in the GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES! He will be watching us how we react during this difficult time. He will be an angle to minister for the body of Christ.

I am trusting the Lord to come for the funeral.

May the almighty give you his grace to cope and stand strong to testify the goodness of the Lord.

Our dearest family the Sonmore’s

First from us, we are sorry in having to reach out to you via e-mail in regards to your dad. We are sorrowful with you in not only words, but with our hearts.

Thanks be to God Almighty that Clayt knew the Lord and that he is with Him in glory and now awaiting us to join him and the great cloud of witnesses. That he is a part of now. I take this moment to hope with Christ, that we learn to be in unity, not by words, but by right standing with our father God Almighty.

So sorry for your loss and we do hope for the joy of the Lord in you all, because of our Saviour Jesus Christ. In this time you face.

In Jesus name

As Maryann and I were talking during our walk this morning we realized both had Clayt on our minds! I think the Lord just works that way--at special times Jesus brings to mind those we are bonded to in the Spirit. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this time--may Jesus touch all the Grandchildren and speak to them.

That which Clayt embodied, may it make an impact for eternity in their lives. Clayt's love overflowed and his integrity and gentleness is contagious.

May the Spirit shower one and all with a measure of that.

Blessings, Bill and Maryann Bennett

Beloved brother Gary. Grace, mercy and peace be multiplied unto you through your knowledge of God our Father Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ. My family and I commiserate with you and the entire Sonmore family on the passing on to eternal glory of your father and a father also to many of us. I had the blessing of being in fellowship once in Owerre when he visited Nigeria in the late 80s. The brief 'contact" set a fire in my spirit regarding the realm 'Beyond Pentecost'. He is not dead but sleepeth and his works do follow him. I bless the Lord as do millions all over the earth that were touched by his life and times. In times like this, we ask the Lord to comfort you and the entire family in a way that He alone is capable of doing and continue to work in you all that is well pleasing in His sight to the glory of His name. The grace of the LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit, beloved brother. Shalom.
